Recently learn of your pregnancy? Healthline.com offers you childbirth information that you've wanted to know.
My baby’s due in two weeks and I am terrified of giving birth! I’ve been to all the classes, spoken to my doctor ad nauseam about my fears, but they remain. I know that the baby has to come out, but why can’t I just be knocked out for it? I decided that I could maybe conquer my fears if I was able to see some childbirth pictures, so I began to search online for them.
During my frantic searching, I came across a website, Healthline.com, which turned out to have all the information that I was searching for. It’s a search engine devoted to health care and it’s made to be used by consumers, not doctors. This meant that I was able to find the childbirth information and pictures that I was after, without having to know any medical terms.
While childbirth is not something that I would like to participate in on a daily basis, after using Healthline.com I feel much more comfortable and knowledgeable about the process. I could broaden and narrow my searches to find just the information I needed and there were even HealthMaps, which diagramed the child birth process for me on Healthline.com.
After my fears were calmed a bit about childbirth, I began to worry that I might have preeclampsia because my ankles were really swelling. Luckily, Healthline.com was there to answer all my questions about those issues too.
Best of all, there are doctor-reviewed articles on the site, so I knew that the information I was getting was accurate. My doctor would sure save herself a lot of time answering questions if she just referred all of her patients to Healthline.com.
