		<description>I enjoyed your article and am somewhat envious.  I live in Iowa and our weather simply does not permit such plants to grow!  The snow comes quickly and the vegetables would all be dead.  Its fun to read about what you are able to do!</description>

year.

Trees look great as their leaves change color, even when bare they can look wonderful with a dusting of frost 

or snow, and, if you are lucky icicles look spectacular.I try to choose small trees and shrubs that develop 

berries. Not only do they look great but they provide a valuable food source for our wildlife.</description>
